General
Booking online allows you to make bookings 24 hours a day from the comfort of your own home, using any digital device. You can also compare features and prices across available facilities to ensure you can find the venue that best meets the requirements of your event.
Yes. You are still able to phone for assistance with your booking and speak with a staff member during business hours. Please phone 1300 345 345.
Yes. You can come into any of our Council offices located in Berridale, Bombala, Cooma or Jindabyne, as well as the Cooma Visitors Centre.
Yes. As part of the online booking form, you can set your booking to recur and select the frequency of recurrence as well as select specific dates and times.
You need to provide your name, date of birth, email, phone and address.
Once you’ve paid, you’ll receive a receipt by email, which includes contact information for a Booking Officer and a link to important information. Bookings will only be confirmed once you’ve paid and we’ve checked the documentation.
Yes. Bookings and payment must be made ahead of time.
Outside of assistance animals, dogs aren’t allowed at organised sporting events. There are signs at each facility that explain what is and isn’t allowed. Generally, no pets are allowed inside facilities, except for assistance animals as explained in the Companion Animals Act 1998.
Council managed lands cannot be closed to the public. The booking system prevents multiple organised events trying to use the same place at the same time, but doesn’t, and can’t, give you exclusive use of a public area.
Summer: 1 October through to 31 March
Winter: 1 April through to 30 September
Maintenance shutdown periods are carried out to allow seasonal maintenance works to be completed and are scheduled throughout the year. Facilities and public areas will be unavailable to book during these times.
Yes. Restrictions known as Alcohol Free Zones / Alcohol Prohibited Areas are declared in line with the Local Government Act 1993. These restrictions are enforced by NSW Police.
Alcohol-free zones apply to public roads, car parks and footpaths, while alcohol-prohibited areas apply to parks and other civic spaces. For more information, head to: Alcohol Free Zones | Snowy Monaro Regional Council
There are signs at each of our public spaces that explain the specific restrictions for each place.
Caravan Parks
Dogs are permitted in our parks as long as they are kept on a leash at all times. Dogs are not permitted in the cabins or caravans that we rent out.
Check in at 2pm, check out at 10am.
Please contact our caravan park staff to discuss after-hours check-in.
Our Bombala Caravan Park is the only site that has a dump point. We suggest that you download the app Australian Dump Point Finder from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store (on your smartphone or tablet) for dump point locations.
Swimming Pools
Our pools in Adaminaby, Berridale and Bombala open for the summer season on the 3rd Saturday in November. The season closes on the 3rd Saturday in March.
Our indoor swimming pool in Jindabyne is open all year round, but is currently closed for maintenance.
